Cleansing oils appeal to me. Whether or not I find it impressive, I always like finding a new one. I find something appealing about the way they remove oil, makeup, and debris from the skin. Anyway, by the time this particular cleansing oil review will be posted up, I would have already finished it up and moved on to another one.
This Manyo Factory Pure Cleansing Oil is light yellowish in hue and smells strongly of plastic and lemon, at least to me. With the exception of the lemon aroma, the texture and way it applies to the skin are very similar to the DHC Deep Cleansing Oil. But, in contrast to DHC's, I would rather choose this one.
Since this Manyo Factory Cleansing Oil is rather viscous and doesn't have much glide when applied to the skin, I use at least three pumps of it. When water is added, it becomes a milky emulsion. I chose a bright lip color to show how well it removes makeup, which is the only reason it's not milky in my pictures below. Though I always take care to avoid getting any emulsion into my eyes from cleaning oils or balms because they have already been stung by other products, I didn't suffer any eye stinging.
The emulsion leaves no oily residue behind and is simple to remove. After that, my skin doesn't feel tight or dry. After I rinse the emulsion off, there is just a faint trace of the waterproof eyeliner left, as you can see in my demo shot above. That ought to demonstrate the effectiveness of this Manyo Pure Cleansing Oil. Despite its usefulness, I won't be buying this again because I typically want my cleansing oils to be thinner and have more slip. Although it's a decent one, I don't like it.
